EinfachNETZ, our project for digitising the grid connection process, has caused quite a stir and we have successfully implemented numerous SAP S/4HANA transformations in the energy sector. One example is Uniper, which, with our support, was one of the first major energy companies to go live on SAP S/4HANA Utilities. This was a milestone that shows how forward-looking such transformations can be. However, this raises the question more than ever: what comes after the transformation?

Many energy suppliers and municipal utilities have initiated or completed important modernisation projects in 2025, whether it be migration to new ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA or the introduction of digital grid connection portals. E-world 2026 will take place in Essen from 10 to 12 February 2026. As Europe's leading trade fair for the energy industry, it brings together international decision-makers from the sector every year and attracted over 33,000 trade visitors and 980 exhibitors from 34 countries to Essen in 2025. This time, you will find adesso in Hall 1, Stand C127. We will once again be represented there together with our subsidiary adesso business consulting with our own stand.
